Every age and every place spawns mindless extremists who are too
lazy to think for themselves. In England in 2006 the new Nazis are
generally middle-class soap-dodgers who claim to be vegan and anti-
racist etc etc.

This evening two such stormtroopers of unreason informed me that I
am a murderer because I eat meat, and also that the life of a fly is
worth as much as the life of a human child. They also informed me
that eating meat is akin to racism as it is speciesism.

The really sad thing was that they were completely serious.

These people are not mere lunatics. They are the fascists of the
future.

If this shit is what lies at the heart of the counterculture then
give me the mainstream anyday.
